About me

For years, my profession was to design projects and interpret complex data. Today, that analytical background shapes my art. I act as a curious observer, using my practice to “map” the human condition. I view my work not just as creation, but as a translation of experience into visual data.

About my art

Growing up between the coasts of Çanakkale and Istanbul, water became my primary language. I have always found clarity in the silence of the underwater world. Diving on a single breath allows me to submerge into another realm of reality, altering all my senses and teaching me new ways to coexist within it.

I approach painting with the same mindset. I work exclusively with water-based media: inks, fluids, washes… They mimic the unpredictability and beauty of the sea. I do not try to control the water; I learn to collaborate with it.

Just as I dive to explore what is beneath the surface, I paint to map the emotions that lie beneath our logic. The process often feels less like ‘drawing’ and more like ‘surfacing’, bringing the hidden textures of the human condition to the surface.
